Types of Technology You Can Explore 

At the Accessibility Lab, people can try out a wide variety of tools and devices, including: 

Smart Home Tools: voice-controlled lights, door locks, appliances, and security systems. 

Communication Supports: speech-to-text apps, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, and captioning tools. 

Mobility & Daily Living Devices: adaptive utensils, powered mobility aids, switch-access controls, and smart wearables. 

Workplace Technology: noise-canceling headsets, screen readers, task-sequencing apps, and adaptive keyboards. 

Health & Wellness Supports: medication reminders, fall detection devices, sensory regulation tools, and calming apps. 

Community Access Tools: wayfinding apps, loop systems for public events, and transportation aids.
